"Pretty Pepper"
Pepper was another one we didn't need. She is out of Dolly's full
sister Sally and Indy. My very good friend Bill Kean kept her from
that breeding and started to train her. He started to run out of
training time so I volunteered to help out and steady her for him. After
starting to train her, I said "WOW". So, I steadied her up and then told
Bill that I wanted to buy her for Billie K. Lucky for me he still
didn't have any time for training. I took her and ran her in the New
Jersey Futurity trial, competing against 15 pups. We won and off she went.
Pepper Placed in two Amateur All-Age Field
Trials during 2006 & 2007 with Tim as her handler, we were happy with her & looked
forward to her really opening up & earning the Blue Rosettes! A little
later in
spring 2007, Pepper did "open up" & earned 2 Open All-Age Placements in
Canada, she almost got the Blue, she took a 2nd out of 53 Starters!! She was awarded a total of 5 Rosettes this spring: 1
Puppy Stake 2 AKC Amatuer All-Age & 2 CKC Open All-Age!! She
also has 2-3 legs of Senior Hunter!
Pepper does a nice
job in the Trials, gets you to the 3rd almost every time & she placed 3rd in her 1st & only Open
All-Age
Competition in 2008. Early 2009, she
took a 2nd in California w/Tim & next week end I picked her up at the Phila.
Airport, drove to LaGrange, TN & she placed 4th in the 2nd trial!! She
really gets around! Recently, after producing a wonderful litter of 9
pups, we got her back in shape & she Won the Cocker Club ESS
Amateur Field Trial, a couple weeks later, she Placed 3rd in the NJ Amateur
Field Trial, she finished her Amateur Field Trial Championship in Nov. of
2009 at the Bushy Hill Field Trial, winning Billie K a cute framed picture
of puppies for being Highest Placing Club Member! It was a good year
for her & she completed 4 Series of the Ama. Nat'l! The Nov. placement
qualified her for the 2010 Amateur Nat'l Championship & she will be running
in the Open All-Age Field Trials this Fall, after getting back in shape from
her current litter of 8 Beautiful Pups, once again, sired by FC Triple
Ridges Buddy Boy.
We are real Proud of Ken Hansom the owner of
Blue River's Fast Track "River", she is Peppers 2008 pup sired
by FC Triple Ridges Buddy Boy. Together this team has Placed in their
1st 7 Puppy Stakes, 3 Wins, 2 3rds & a 4th! Her littermate "BJ" being
trained in NJ by Ralph Botti has placed in a couple Puppy Stakes, too!
Both are competing in All-Age Field Trials currently, River made the 3rd
Series in her 1st ever Field Trial w/Ken!
Dayna from Peppers 2007 litter sired by FC Sandy
Hills Beau Geste, MH "Digby" had Placements in Puppy Stakes, she
currently added 2 legs of Master Hunter to her accomplishments & is running
her 1st Amateur All-Age Field Trial this Sunday at Wolfskill Farm,
Robesonia, Pa.
That's my "Pretty Pepper", she is such a nice girl
& always so happy!
